Tardio’s first Launch/Fundraising event, November 25, 2023.

Over the years, the Sub Saharan Africa has remained the region with the highest rates of education exclusion.

Education , one of the key instruments to reduce poverty and lay the foundations for sustained economic growth is a fundamental human right and is crucial for the development of individuals and societies.

Despite the success in nursery and primary school enrolment, inequalities and inefficiencies remain in this critical sector.
A large number of our children do not attain basic education due to poverty. While some hawk on the streets, some study under under unfavorable conditions.
Tardio, spurred by the increasing down-slope in this critical sector aims to provide for the less privileged children the required school and learning materials.
And with the statistics of 7 out of 10 countries facing an acute shortage of teachers, Tardio also aims to advocate for teachers remuneration and performance training as well as working in partnership with the appropriate bodies to renovate and recondition the children’s learning environment.
