2023 World Book Day

OVER 100 COUNTRIES CELEBRATE WORLD BOOK DAY’S 26TH ANNIVERSARY    as organised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) to promote books and reading. As always, children are encouraged to dress up in a costume as their favourite book character. Children in one of the private schools in the UK were invited to dress as an adjective ‘World Book Day’ to depict their chosen word and definition.
The child as seen in the picture dressed up as a Black Panther to depict the adjective ‘INTREDIP’. He believes in the importance of facing ones’ fears fearlessly. Most importantly, he believes the power to face ones’ fears lie in acquiring knowledge which can be acquired by reading.
Tardio urges parents to read with their children for at least 30 – 45minutes a day to encourage them in learning the steps for knowledge acquisition.
